This hat is like new. The fur has remained very soft, clean, and is fully intact with no bald spots at all. The hat has been stored in its original hat box since purchase and has been 'in my family' for 3 generations (original owner was my grandmother). The box is in good condition, with a few cracks or bends at some corners. Hat box has detachable top and braided gold handles at top and side. The box measures 11 inches (diameter) x 6.5 inches (height).
