Vintage Anne Klein II 3/4 Long Wool Coat w Belt Fucshia Purple ILGWU USA Large

Fabulous fucshia late 1980s vintage Anne Klein II / ILGWU wool coat with belt, unmarked size. Union made in the USA. Based on measurements this piece is a Large: 17" shoulder to shoulder laid flat, 21" armpit to armpit laid flat, 45" top of shoulder to bottom hem. Falls mid-calf, or 3/4 length. Materials tag is also missing but this piece is definitely wool, maybe even some cashmere blended in, as was typical at this quality level for this brand at the time. Double-breasted, front button closure. Notched oversized collar. Two hip pockets. Lined in a high-quality satin. The buttons on this piece are very cool, a marbled black/fucshia. This piece does have some surface moth damage -- not holes you can see through, but "nibbles" on one lapel and on the belt -- see last two photos. Belt has most of the moth damage. Still so much life left in this piece. Cannot overstate how stunning the color is. Lining is pristine -- this coat appears to have been worn very little.
