my father had many passions in life.  One was assembling and collecting bicycles, working on race car engines  and collecting, assembling and racing slot cars, collecting die cast vehicles, rare and unusual trinkets, and hunting, among others.


he has given a lot of his stuff away, but kept few random items and sets  for whatever reason.


This box has been sitting in my dads giant curio cabinet for as long as I can remember.  
He liked to collect items From Japan / Made in Japan


This is a Great antique Japanese antimony metal stash/cigarette box, with hinged lid,  dating back to 1920s-1930s -  Taisho or early Showa period. 


 Has a dragon design on the lid and Mountains, Bridges and water on the sides of the box.   Each of the 4 sides depict a different scene


Marked "Made in Japan" on the lower back edge. 


Has the original wood liner. Box is In very nice original condition - never cleaned or scrubbed,  nothing is broken or damaged, with usual Patina consistent with age.
