The Nomad Design MadMac 200 Trolling Lures, an 8-inch sinking minnow, can reach speeds up to 20 knots when rigged properly. We suggest trolling at 6-12 knots, but it can handle higher speeds. Check Nomad Design's YouTube for rigging tips. It can also troll as slow as 5 knots, maintaining a vibrant action at low speeds thanks to its Patented Autotune System. This system ensures straight trolling and excellent action across a wide range of speeds. Its versatility makes it an essential lure for any spread. At slower speeds, it runs at around 8-10 feet, and at high speeds, it runs around 3-4 feet deep.
