Gold Matte Baroque Theme Footed Jewelry Box/Casket Velvet Lining Mark "Foreign"

Matte gold tone jewelry dresser box or jewelry casket. The box is rectangularly shaped and has four Queen Ann legs. The outside has an amazing design and embossing embellishes the box’s look on all sides which makes it perfect for decorative purposes as well. This jewelry box is hinged and the interior is covered with red velvet material on top and bottom. The interior is very good clean condition considering age. No odors. One corner of the velvet has pulled away from the frame. There is no clasp and the hinge is solid with lid closing nicely. It is marked "Foreign". I do not know maker or age. There is some minor wear especially at the right hand corner where it would have been lifted to open and to bottom of feet. Measures 4" T x 6" L x 4 3/4" D. Weight 2 lbs. 2 oz. Great for a vanity or bath as a most beautiful and impressive choice to display your items of jewelry!
